The Great Swine Flu Epidemic Prophylactics

Monday, April 27th, 2009

I just posted at Speechmastery.com under Breaking News Speech Topic 4-27-09 about
The Great Swine Flu Epidemic.

This topic will not only allow you to talk about a timely topic, it will also allow you to provide some scientific info on what can be done to protect ourselves from this deadly disease.

Make sure to check the abstract at the National Institute of Health site about A nutritional supplement formula for (avian) influenza A infection in humans.

Note the dates. Note the solution. Want more info…check out The Glutathione Disease Cure.com Site More information will be posted there in the next few days. The same prophylactic support will be found with the swine flu.

Simply, a couple of Brazil nuts a day and boost your glutathione and you probably will die of something other than Avian Flu according to the study and very likely, due to similarities, swine flu.

Note: When ever posting something like this I get a flood of e-mail and even phone calls. I really do not mind. However, for those who see marketing potential, well, you may be better than I but go ahead and contact me. I am already an independent distributor of two products that boost intercellular glutathione. I am more interested in speaking and studying the science but putting bread on the table is always fine. Besides, I have no fear of getting it or any other disease. I rarely get sick these days.

Poor Mans Copyright

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

One of the ways to make money from public speaking is offering back of the room products. It is a good idea if you create your own products that they are copyrighted.

There are numerous urban legends on the poormans copyright. You might do well to learn about what it is and what you really need to do to protect your work.

Write to get Speaking Gigs

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Writing is a daunting task for many. However if you want to make any money from public speaking, start writing. Let me give you a brief real example that is unfolding.

I was asked to write a series of web based articles for a chimney liner manufacturer. Only a few days after posting the first article Do It Yourself Stainless Steel Chimney Liner it made it to the first page.

Then armed with a little expertise, the owner of the manufacturing company gave me the OK and now I are going to go speak to a small group within the industry. My pay will come from the owner of the company. It will not be much but will allow me to network.

Indeed the networking has already paid off since the speaking engagement has led to another. Only thing, the second speaking gig will allow me to have back of the room sales. I could easily make $1500 for the second gig. And from there, get more speaking gigs.

This all started with writing an article for the web.

Speak well and prosper.

What do You Believe?

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

I stumbled upon this great piece by Michael Shermer. It is called the Monty Hall Problem. It has been expressed in a number of different mathematical theories through the years. This simplifies it a bit.

You can use this as a public speaker to give your audience a paradigm shift. Get them to question what they believe.

You will find the posting from the Skepticblog there also.

Have fun.

Help Desk Humor

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

The best humor is that which you do not use overtly but the audience loves. One way to use covert humor is finding incongruity.

One example of incongruity is Help Desk Humor

This is a link to a survey of over 100 CIO’s and the questions staff had to deal with.

Please come back and add to the list if you know any more.

Cheers and Speak well.

The Stolen Site Saga Continues

I wrote abuse@ecatel.net and tonight Google.

The hacker is in Amsterdam. The process is called scraping. It is very common and has happened to a lot of sites.

Find a Truth by Questioning What You Say

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

In a recent attempt to write an article on Christoper Columbus and sailing off the earth, the thought came to question the facts of the story. With two keywords and a few clicks later, it turns out the whole story was a myth. It is not true. It is even listed as one of the top scientific myths, bigger than the Piltdown Man fraud which leaves evolution with out any proof.

Imagine what you can do with that little bit of information.

Check out the article Healthcare Politics and the Flat Earth Myth.

Have fun with it.

Speak well.
