When speaking, do you just recite existing knowledge or do you challenge it.

There is a standard definition of communication in the dictionary and elsewhere. I believe it is inadequate. Rather than challenging the answer to the question, why not challenge the question.

In the case of communication, the challenge is asking the more important question of, “What is Effective Communication?
